I listen to a bunch of podcasts regularly, and an occasional videocast as well, and one piece of functionality I’m direly missing is putting bookmarks into those content types.

How do I place a marker inside an hour-long podcast when I hear something interesting in there and want to come back to that?

Also, why do I need to go see a supporting webpage to get all the links that were referred to in the podcast? Why can’t there be a metadata section in the podcast audio that has all that information? Maybe this metadata could even have pointers into the audio marking where something was talked about — something like a table of contents.

There you go — there’s my rant for functionality I want, but don’t have, and will wait for someone to implement!
